Randy Bentley
William “Randy” Bentley, age 67, passed away on February 13, 2026, following a long battle with heart disease. He was born October 23, 1958, and spent much of his life in Princeton, Kentucky, where he formed many lasting friendships.
Randy had a lifelong love of stock car racing and enjoyed being close to the action, whether watching from the stands or helping as part of a pit crew. He was known for his easy smile, warm greeting, and willingness to lend a helping hand whenever someone needed assistance. Randy’s kindness and cheerful spirit will be fondly remembered.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Bentley; his son, Jamie Bentley; his parents, William and Nell Bentley; and his sister, Susan Sprinkle.
Randy is survived by his stepsons, Allen Stephens and William Stephens the Second; his step-granddaughter, Leia Stephens; his brothers, Michael Horn, Paul Horn, and Bill Meredith; his sisters, Angie Walsh, Stephanie Cole, Sherry Breeden, and Gayle Caton; and many nieces and nephews.
