The MSD of North Posey County is currently seeking bus drivers for the 2023-2024 school year as well as applications for substitute drivers. They say they are happy to assist with reimbursement for driver training fees, but the deadline for the next training is quickly approaching. In a first-time partnership, The Evansville Thunderbolts are teaming up with the American Red Cross to host a blood drive at the Ford Center ahead of the team's game on Saturday. The Thunderbolts will be having their Pink in the Rink and Heart Health Wellness night. Prior to the 7:00 PM game on Saturday, the blood drive will take place. It will happen from noon to 6 p.m. at the Ford Center's Hospitality Room. This event coincides with the team’s theme night. All blood types are welcomed. Nearly a quarter of the American Red Cross blood supply goes to cancer patients. Anyone who gives blood at the drive will get to purchase game tickets for the rest of the season at a discounted rate. Anyone who gives in March will also get a $10 prepaid card by email, plus a chance to win a $3,000 prepaid Visa card. USI Athletics posted on Twitter yesterday that the Screaming Eagles Men’s Basketball team has accepted an invitation to play in the 2023 CBI Tournament in Daytona Beach, Florida. This is a 16-team single elimination tournament that runs from March 18th through March 22nd at the Ocean Center. USI went 16-16 in their first Division One season. Coming up this Saturday, it’s the High School Boys Basketball Regional across the tri-state. This year, the IHSAA changed the regional format from two games to just one game. In the Class 4A Regional 7 Championship Game at Seymore High School, Reitz (19-6) will play Jennings County (23-2) at 3:00 PM. In the Class 3A Regional 16 Championship Game at Washington High School, Gibson Southern (13-12) will battle North Daviess (23-5) at 6:00 PM. Moving on to the Class 2A Regional 23 Championship Game at Southridge High School, Forest Park (9-17) plays Brownstown Central (22-4) at 3:00 PM. After that game at Southridge, Linton-Stockton (26-1) faces North Decatur (21-5) at 6:00 PM in the Class 2A Regional 24 Championship Game. Finishing up in the Class 1A Regional 31 Championship Game at Loogootee High School, Northeast Dubois (14-10) battles Loogootee (19-7) at 3:00 PM.

- In Men's College Basketball tonight, the Big 10 Tournament continues in Chicago. The #7 seed Illinois Fighting Illini (20-11) will play #10 seed Penn State at 5:30 PM. Down in Frisco, Texas at the Conference USA Tournament...#8 seed WKU (17-15) battles #1 seed FAU at 5:30 PM. 

- The Indiana Pacers (29-37) welcome the Houston Rockets to town at 6:00 PM.
