Lane closures will be coming to the Lloyd Expressway soon as part of the Lloyd4U project. The Indiana Department of Transportation says that beginning on or around May 28th, crews will begin lane closures on eastbound S.R. 62 from the Posey County Line Road to Schutte Road. The lane closures will allow crews to reinforce the outside shoulders of S.R. 62 with fresh pavement to accommodate future Lloyd4U traffic shifts. INDOT says shoulder strengthening will occur in two-mile sections as work progresses eastward to Barker Avenue. This phase of work is expected to take a month to complete, weather permitting. TheLloyd4U includes more than a dozen improvement projects along the Lloyd Expressway, extending from one end of Vanderburgh County to the other, from Posey County Line Road to Cross Pointe Boulevard. You can learn all about the project on thelloyd4u.com.
