State highway work is set to impact drivers in Posey County starting next week. Beginning May 4th, crews from the Indiana Department of Transportation will close State Road 165 between State Road 66, just south of Poseyville, and State Road 68 near Poseyville. The closure is scheduled to last through May 15th as crews complete a chip-and-seal road maintenance project. Drivers are encouraged to plan ahead, allow extra travel time, and follow posted detour signs. INDOT says the project is expected to wrap up by late night on May 15th, weather permitting.
