Indiana Governor Mike Braun was in Evansville yesterday, highlighting efforts to make Southwest Indiana one of the best places in the state to do business. Governor Braun delivered the keynote address at the Innovate Southwest Indiana event at the University of Evansville, where he discussed workforce development, attracting new talent, and expanding business opportunities across the region. Hundreds of local business leaders attended the event, networking with the governor and representatives from major organizations, including Toyota and the Evansville Regional Airport. Braun also reflected on his experience as a Main Street business owner in the Tri-State and emphasized his vision for Indiana’s future. He says Southern Indiana offers strong advantages for both families and businesses, making it an easy sell to companies considering expansion or relocation. Tuesday’s stop in Evansville marked the second event in the governor’s Innovate Indiana series, with seven more stops planned across the state.
