The Alexandrian Public Library is hosting Adult Trivia Night this evening. The doors open at 5:30 PM with trivia starting at 6:00 PM. Teams can range anywhere from one person through four people. Register your team by calling 812-838-3286.
The Pocket Athletic Conference has raised all ticket prices to $6 for varsity events this year. MVHS students can purchase discounted passes through the athetic office, or by going online to EventLink.com and choose "EventLink Tickets" then "Buy Season Passes."
North Posey High School's all-sports passes are on-sale now. The Family Pass is $200, which includes four passes. Adult all-sport passes are $95. Senior all-sports passes are $75. Student all-sports passes are $45. Staff of North Posey High School will receive free entry with their school ID.
This evening Marrs Elementary will have their open house for 3rd-5th grade from 5:30-6:30 PM.
High School Sports:
Last night Mt. Vernon Girls Soccer lost at home to Evansville Christian, 7-4. Maty Burnett scored 2 goals, Ella Sponn and Valerie Thompson each scored a goal for the Wildcats.
Mt. Vernon Boys Tennis earned a 3-2 victory at Pike Central.
North Posey Volleyball beat Gibson Southern at home in straight sets (25-20, 25-23, 27-25). The Vikings JV team also won their match (25-21, 25-19).
