Country music singer Kenny Chesney has a tour stop scheduled in Evansville. As part of his "I Go Back" 2023 tour, Kenny Chesney will stop at Ford Center on May 20th, 2023. Ford Center officials say tickets for the show will go on sale December 2nd at 10:00 AM. According to a press release, tickets can be found at kennychesney.com. 

 

The 88th Annual Hadi Shrine Circus kicks off this week on Thanksgiving Day at Ford Center in downtown Evansville. Once again Posey County Shriners are making available free Circus Exchange Tickets for all Posey County Elementary School students. These are student only tickets. Tonight, you will be able to pick up those tickets at the New Harmony Fire Department from 5:30 PM until 7:00 PM. If you can’t make it tonight, there is another chance in Mt. Vernon tomorrow evening at the Black Township Fire Department from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

Adult discount admission tickets will also be available for purchase at the previously mentioned locations. Discount tickets will not be available after Wednesday. Evansville’s Hadi Shrine Circus gets underway on Thursday at 5:00 PM and will have shows throughout Thanksgiving weekend at Ford Center in Evansville.

 

Simply Prepped Meals is beginning meal service to Mt. Vernon. They posted on social media that have formed a partnership with 3 Chicks Fudgery and are welcoming customers to pick their orders up in their store. This week’s menu includes their protein balls and Thanksgiving sides and treats. They say that their main meal service will resume right after Thanksgiving. One local High School Football team will play for a state championship this weekend up in Indianapolis at Lucas Oil Stadium and that is the Mater Dei Wildcats. They will play in the Class 2A Championship game on Friday at 10:00 AM against Andrean. Mater Dei is 11-3 on the year and Andrean is 10-3. We will have coverage of the game again this Friday on 106.7 FM WMVI.

 

Sports Tonight: 

- The University of Evansville continues to play host to the MVC Tournament on campus at Meeks Family Fieldhouse. The Purple Aces who are the 5 seed in the tournament won yesterday and take on the 4th seeded SIU Salukies at 3:00 PM today. There are 6 teams left in the tournament. 

- The Indiana Pacers play host to the Orlando Magic at 6:00 PM. The Pacers are 9-6 and have won 4-straight games.
